Ioana Park, P.E., LEED® AP
Experience
Ioana joined BRC in 1989 and is a Senior Consultant in environmental acoustics. Her projects include industrial, commercial, and residential developments, airports, and surface transportation facilities. Ioana has extensive experience in conducting complex noise studies involving noise measurements and monitoring, computer modeling to predict future noise levels based on proposed project activities, evaluation of environmental impacts of noise, and recommendations for noise mitigation measures for compliance with standards and minimizing impacts. She is often called upon to provide expert witness testimony in court proceedings and project land-use hearings, and she presents BRC's course in Environmental Noise Control for AIA Continuing Education.
Ioana is a registered Professional Engineer (Acoustics) in Oregon, the only state to register Professional Engineers in this discipline.
