Consulting in 1997 as a Senior
Consultant specializing in room
acoustics, low-level vibration
measurement and vibration control
design, aircraft noise control
for commercial and residential
structures, outdoor noise prediction,
and mechanical system noise and
vibration control.
With over 20 years experience in
architectural acoustics and in
the control of mechanical system
noise and vibration, Dennis has
worked on a wide variety of projects
at Microsoft, Boeing, and the University
of Washington, and has provided
acoustical and noise control design
for such landmark projects as The
Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research
Center, the Amgen Helix Campus,
Tacoma Art Museum, and the United
States Courthouse, Seattle .
In 2003, after extensive study while
also maintaining a full consulting
schedule, Dennis was awarded his
Ph.D. in Acoustics by Kobe University
where he collaborated with Dr.
Yoichi Ando, world-renowned authority
on acoustical design of concert
halls.
